Funeral home assault: Police dismiss charges against one sister, name new suspect in threats - The Tennessean

Angel and Travonda Chatman were charged with aggravated assault earlier this week in connection with a dispute at a funeral home that got out of hand.  However, the Metro Nashville Police Department announced Friday that a third woman, Talisa Rollins, was being sought in connection with the disagreement, and that Travonda Chatman will have her charges dismissed.  Rollins, 30, and Angel Chatman, 28, are now believed to have been involved in the altercation at the funeral of Chatman's ex, who police have not identified.  When Rollins and the Chatmans arrived at the Terrell Broady Funeral Home on Clarksville Pike for a visitation at 1 p.m. Monday, they were told by family members that they were not welcome there, police reported.  An argument ensued, police said, during which Angel Chatman allegedly pulled a knife and cut the sister of the deceased on her back. While reversing to leave the parking lot, Chatman struck a pickup t...
